Breathe

You probably didn’t think about your last breath. It came as naturally as few things do – breathing is one of the basic necessities of life. But while humans have been busy driving progress, producing and consuming on an unprecedented scale, we have left a dark cloud in the air we breathe. Air pollution has increased to the point that seven million people die worldwide each year. Industrial exhaust fumes, personal and commercial transportation, agriculture, waste management, and domestic heating fill our atmosphere with hard particles, ground-level ozone, and other gases that make the air dangerous for our lungs. The synchronicity of our breathing connects us with our consciousness. Our collective consciousness is inextricably linked to all life on this planet. In this consciousness, we awaken to a new reality.

Think about your next breath. Breathe.
